Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lyman Yeager, Jr. of Selma announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Kristen to Daniel Phillip Gardner, the son of Dr. and Mrs. William Henry Gardner

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Randolph Preston O’Connor and the late Eleanor Johnson O’Connor of Daphne and Mrs. Dorothy Yeend Yeager and the late Mr. Gerald Lyman Yeager of Fairhope.
Miss Yeager is a 2003 graduate and salutatorian of John Tyler Morgan Academy and a 2007 summa cum laude graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She was affiliated with Alpha Gamma Delta social sorority and held membership in nationally recognized honor societies including Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Miss Yeager received a Masters of Tax Accountancy from the University of Alabama in June, 2008 and is currently employed as a Certified Public Accountant at the firm of Russell Thompson Butler and Houston, LLP in Mobile.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Lynn Gardner and the late William Gardner, Sr. of Summit, Mississippi and Mrs. Evelyn Witherington and the late Wilbur Witherington of Lakeland, Florida.
Mr. Gardner is a 2005 graduate of Meadowview Christian School and a 2009 graduate of University of Mobile with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. He was Captain of the Varsity Cross Country Team. He is currently employed with Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama in the SICU.
The wedding will take place on September 18, 2010 in Point Clear, Alabama.
