VALLEY GRANDE – The city of Valley Grande is preparing to welcome residents and visitors for its annual Fall Festival, set for Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valley Grande City Park. The event promises a day filled with live music, food trucks, games, crafts and family friendly entertainment.
The festival has steadily grown over the years, becoming one of Valley Grande’s most anticipated community gatherings. The event attracts families from across Dallas County and neighboring towns, offering a small-town charm that highlights the best of local talent and hospitality.
Planning for the festival began early in the summer, with city leaders reaching out to area businesses, artists and organizations to participate as vendors. The city is encouraging local entrepreneurs and craftspeople to take part, emphasizing the festival’s role as both a community celebration and an opportunity to support small businesses. Vendor applications are currently open and can be picked up at Valley Grande City Hall or downloaded from the city’s Facebook page.
The festival will feature a range of attractions designed for visitors of all ages. Children can enjoy bounce houses, carnival-style games, and hands-on activities, while adults can browse booths offering homemade goods, artwork, and fall-themed décor. Food trucks and local vendors will serve up a variety of favorites, from barbecue and funnel cakes to kettle corn and fresh lemonade.
Live entertainment will also be a highlight of the day, with local musicians and performers taking the stage throughout the event. Organizers said the goal is to create an atmosphere that encourages families to relax, connect, and enjoy the fall weather together.
City officials said they are taking steps to ensure the festival remains safe and accessible for all attendees. On-site parking, restroom facilities, and rest areas will be available, and volunteers will be stationed throughout the park to assist visitors as needed. Officials also emphasized the importance of maintaining a welcoming environment that reflects Valley Grande’s family-oriented values.
Beyond the fun and festivities, the Fall Festival serves as a reminder of the city’s close-knit community spirit. Local leaders view the event as a way to strengthen connections between residents and showcase the creativity and generosity of those who call Valley Grande home.
Vendor applications and additional event details are available through Valley Grande City Hall by calling 334-872-0104. Updates will also be posted regularly on the city’s Facebook page as the festival date approaches.
As autumn settles over central Alabama, Valley Grande’s annual Fall Festival is expected to once again bring color, music, and togetherness to the heart of the community — a celebration of local pride and the simple joys of small-town living.
