Retired Judge Maggie W. Drake Peterson, 81, resident of Orrville, AL, passed away at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL on Friday, September 19, 2025. She is survived by her son, Michael C. Drake of Detroit, MI; her brothers, Peter E. Williams and Charles (Patricia) Williams, both of Detroit, MI, Rev. Curtis (Jerolene) Williams of Beloit, AL, and Dr. Ray (Clara) Williams of Moundville, AL; and her sister, Mamie(John) Solomon of Selma, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Selma University Gymnasium with Pastor Elder E. Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Miller’s Memorial Garden, 500 Hooper Dr., Selma, AL. Randall Miller Funeral Service and Crematory directing.
