• ArtsRevive Gallery 905 is the site of the kick off for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Thursday, Sept. 25th at 5.30 p.m., local artists will join with the community in honoring the area’s Breast Cancer Survivors with a Butterflies in Pink event. There will be light refreshments at the reception. The public is invited, and all survivors of breast cancers are encouraged to attend. • Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville will be celebrating its 172nd church anniversary and homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 1 p.m. The speaker of the hour will be Pastor Christopher Wright of Lily Grove Baptist Church.
