The University of West Alabama (UWA) has announced nearly 600 outstanding undergraduate students named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 academic semester.

Local students named to the Dean’s List included Anna Hewitt of Selma, majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications, and Sa’riyah Lawson of Catherine, majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology.

The Dean’s List gives recognition to undergraduate students with grade-point averages between 3.25 and 3.79, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a “C.”
