Michelle Jones Mitchell, 52, of Selma, AL, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Ross Jones; her father, Arthur Lee Jones; and her grandmothers, Willie Mae Ross and Willie Mae Jones. She is survived by her husband, Michael Mitchell, Sr.; her mother, Barbara Ann Parker Jones; her son, Michael Mitchell, Jr.; her daughter, Mykiria Mitchell; and her sister, Carletta Denise Jones Childs. Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2025 at noon at Greater Mt. Calvary AME Church in Beloit with Pastor Joseph Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Miller’s Memorial Garden.
