And we’re back: With Memorial Day weekend off, the players returned to a flag grabbing frenzy.
It may have been the clear skies that greeted the players, but whatever it was Game 3 was filled with energy and competition.
In the first match-up of the day the undefeated Texans defeated the Jaguars 30-18. This wasn’t an easy win, because the Jaguars didn’t just give up. Flags were flying all over the field as both teams kept pushing until the final seconds. “I just had to show you how to do it”, said Coach Sallie, and that he did as he coached the Texans to a victory.
Coach Sallie and Coach Williams weren’t done yet. They faced each other again in the second game of the day, where the undefeated Titans took on the Falcons, in an intense game that ended in an 18-18 tie. Falcons player Jaylen Smiley shared, “I really enjoyed the game and wished that the season were longer.”
Game 5 is set for Saturday, June 14, featuring the Texans against the Jaguars at 1 p.m., followed by the Falcons taking on the Titans at 2 p.m.
The current league standings are as follows: Titans 2-0, Falcons 1-1, Texans 2-0, Jaguars 1-1.
