Walker Track Club athletes place at Huntsville meet

The Walker Track Club recently competed at the Coach O Park Track Club meet at Milton Frank Stadium in Huntsville.
Some of the top finishes included a third place by Cristian Reese in the 15-16 discus throw and a third place by Anterrius Armstead in the 15-16 javelin throw.
Marcus Robinson had a good meet as well in the 15- and 16-year-old division. He took fourth place in the 110-meter hurdles, fifth in the 400-meter hurdles and sixth place in the long jump.
In the girls 9- and 10-year-old division, Annalise O’Neal finished in first in the high jump with a three-foot, two-inch effort. He was also fourth in the long jump and shot put.
Zeria “Z” Bell took third place in the 200-meter hurdles and shot put in the girls 13- and 14-year-old division.
The Walker Track Club returns to action at Chelsea High School on Saturday, June 7, for the AAU Southeastern Qualifier. Field events start at 8 a.m. followed by the track events at 9 a.m. weather permitting.
