The Rolling Youth Flag Football League has officially kicked off its Spring 2025 season with excitement and strong community support.

The season officially kicked off on March 29 with a Combine, where players had the opportunity to showcase their athletic abilities. A meet and greet was held the following weekend, May 4, to give the young athletes the opportunity to pickup their jerseys, meet their coaches/teammates and have the first practice of the season.

The first game of the season was a scrimmage game that was held on Saturday, May 10. Team Williams/Hayes defeated Team Pratt/Sallie with a score of 22-13.

This league holds true to the mission of Rolling Youth Foundation, which is to motivate and mentor young men by providing them with mental and social skills that will strengthen their attitudes, etiquette, and professional development.

Founded in 2014 by Erice Williams, Rolling Youth Foundation was born from Williams’ own experiences growing up in Selma. The organization is committed to improving the quality of life for school-aged young men, particularly those in need of emotional support, educational resources, and practical guidance as they transition from adolescence into adulthood.

The season continues on Saturday, May 17, with the Titans facing the Jaguars at 1 p.m., followed by the Texans vs. Falcons at 2 p.m. Both games will be played at the Southside High School Panthers Stadium.
