2 “The Lord is my strength and my defense;

    he has become my salvation.

He is my God, and I will praise him,

    my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

— Exodus 15:1-2 (NIV)

It is important to celebrate God’s hand in our victories. Each and every verse of the song of Moses and Miriam — found in Exodus 15:1-21 — is so powerful. It truly lifts God up and recognizes Him for who He is.

You don’t have to wait for your enemies to be visibly defeated to celebrate God. There are so many miracles around us every day. When you open your eyes and mind to the truth of God and his amazing impact on your life, your heart has no choice but to celebrate.

Singing praises to the Lord will strengthen your faith and trust in God. Proclaiming aloud who God is, what He has done, what He will do, and verbally and openly proclaiming His promises has an eternal impact upon your soul.

Verse 18 states that “The Lord will reign forever and ever.” It is important that this is understood as a fact. Any wavering on this truth can limit and damage your faith.

Treasure this fact deep in your soul: There is no end to God’s reign. He will not and cannot be overthrown. Satan is a defeated foe. His desire is to capture as many souls as possible along his way to destruction.

God is in control even when it appears He is not. His reign has never ended and never will. He is God.

He is also our redeemer. Being redeemed is powerful. The knowledge that God seeks to redeem us should be breathtaking.

We may fail time upon time, but the love of God never does. God stands out in front of the redeemed, leading the way. Be wise enough to follow every step he lays out before you.

March in a God-inspired victory parade today! Knowing who HE truly is and celebrating HIM will set you free from fear!
