Friday night, a man was pronounced dead after shots rang out on the corner of Church St. and Minter Avenue.

Early Monday, the Selma Police Department released the victim’s identity as 23-year-old Daquand Hall of Selma, who succumbed to his injuries after being fatally shot around 11 p.m. on Friday, April 25.

When officers arrived, they said Hall was dead on scene and at this time, there are no suspects or any motive identified as of Monday for the shooting.
