It’s been three days since the tragic shooting that killed 23-year-old Daquand Hall. He was fatally shot on the corner of Church Street and Minter Avenue Friday, April 25. Hall left behind family members, friends and many loved ones who will miss him and are actively seeking help from the community to pay for his burial.
Through a GoFundMe fundraiser account, Hall’s sister, Davida, is asking community members at this time to donate what they have saying, “Anything can help. He was gunned down and left for dead. He was 23 years old and he didn’t get to live his life. Thank you all.”
Currently, members of the community have raised $220 but the overall goal that the family has requested to pay for Hall’s burial services is $1,600.
At this time, details regarding Hall’s funeral have not been released, but the date that the family has tentatively set to bury Hall is Friday, May 9.
