On Tuesday evening, a man suffered a graze wound after shots were fired on Water Avenue in the area of Bristol Avenue and Dedman Avenue.

Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford said the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

At this time, Selma Police said no motive has been determined and that the shooting incident is under investigation.

The condition or identity of the victim was not immediately available.
