During the month of February, the following students won the Black History Trivia Contest at Dallas County High School:

• Jaidyn Dixon (not pictured)-first place;

• Kyrian Hayes-second place (pictured on the left);

• Brittany Robinson (pictured on the right)-third place.

The winners received cash and food prizes.

According to Ms. Cathryn Dozier, the library media specialist, “The trivia contest was utilized as a tool to help students learn new facts about the accomplishments of African Americans.”
