“I am honored to join the Vaughan team,” Holland said. “This is an organization deeply rooted in the community, and I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff to ensure we deliver the highest standards of care for every patient we serve.”

James said this appointment will help ensure that the hospital provides exceptional patient care.

“Karen’s expertise will strengthen our ongoing efforts to deliver high-quality care to the people of our region,” James said. “As the trusted healthcare provider for Selma and the five counties, we are committed to ensuring every patient receives safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care. Karen’s leadership will help us raise the bar for quality care even further.”

Holland said her approach to quality is grounded in collaboration, data-driven decision-making and a firm belief that every patient deserves the best possible outcome. Her position is instrumental in enhancing the hospital’s performance metrics and supporting its clinical teams in continuous improvement.

“Every patient that comes to Vaughan deserves the best possible care and every team member at Vaughan wants to provide the best care possible,” Holland said. “My role is to help guide best practices and help build upon a culture that elevates safety and quality and empowers team members to do what they do best, caring for others.”
