The Morgan junior varsity track team finished third overall at the AISA JV State Meet.

Team members include Leighton Grace Bennett, Jorja Viscome, Georgia Sams, Laura Ousley, Anna James Wilkinson, Olivia Ray, Chambers Jones and McKenzie Britt.

Georgia Sams finished first in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Chambers Jones also took home first place in the 300-meter hurdles. Leighton Grace Bennett also had a top finish in the 800-meter run.

McKenzie Britt took second in the 400 meters. Morgan’s 4×100-meter relay won first place. The relay team consisted of Georgia Sams, Leighton Grace Bennett, McKenzie Britt and Chambers Jones.

The Morgan 4×400-meter relay also placed third overall. That team consisted of Leighton Grace Bennett, Jorja Viscome, Olivia Ray and Anna James Wilkinson.
