In honor of Doctors’ Day, the Selma Chapter of The Links, Incorporated organization presented gifts to various physicians of Vaughan Regional Medical Center dedicated to serve.
“This act of gratitude aimed to honor the unwavering commitment and tireless efforts of the hospital’s active medical staff in serving the Blackbelt community,” according to the local Links organization’s president Dr. Patricia Kendrick Robinson.
Doctors Day was celebrated on Sunday, March 30.
Robinson went on to say physicians in Selma are the backbone of our local healthcare system, providing not just medical care but hope and healing to those in need.
“It is our privilege to honor them for their extraordinary service,” Robinson said. “The presentation of gifts was a symbolic token of appreciation, reflecting the chapter’s unwavering commitment to strengthening communities through service, education, and outreach. As Selma’s physicians continue their vital work, the Selma (AL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated stands proud in celebrating and supporting those who make a lasting difference in the lives of others.”
