Lady Senators get big win over Russell Christian

The Morgan Lady Senators took care of Russell Christian on Thursday winning 10-0.
Morgan racked up 13 hits in the win. Lydia Smitherman had a triple and a single with three RBIs while Addison Bond, Leila Moore and Lila Cornell each had two hits. Bond had two RBIs while the other two had one RBI. Moore’s hits were both doubles.
Anna Logan Lee, Miles Avery Bond, Hadley Verhoff, EG Mims and Kaylee Cornell also had hits. Verhoff’s hit was a double with two RBIs.
Addison Bond got the win with five strikeouts in the game.
The Lady Senators also lost a doubleheader to Monroe Academy 7-1 and 9-4. They are now 14-6 on the season.
