Friday was a big day for one local residents within the community named Desiree McGuire.

McGuire is the newest recipient of a brand-new home given through a partnership with the Selma Housing Authority, NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America, The Black Belt Community Foundation (BBCF) alongside The City of Selma.
