The Selma Team Outreach Ministry and Prayer (S.T.O.M.P.) is expanding to include two more prayer days during 2025 for the communities of Orrville and Valley Grande.

Annie Towns, founder of S.T.O.M.P., said last week in an announcement that each of those communities will be having a City-Wide Prayer Day.

“For those who do not know, the mayor and city council of Selma presented S.T.O.M.P. with a resolution and proclamation in 2022,” Towns said. “It was proclaiming the first Saturday in October as a City-Wide Day of prayer led by S.T.O.M.P. Let’s unite in prayer for Orville, Valley Grande and Selma.”

Orrville’s event will be Saturday, March 1, at 10 a.m. at 14761 Main Street next to the Orrville Town Hall.

“This is a special opportunity for people of all faiths to come together in unity to pray for our community’s needs,” Towns said. “Let’s lift our voices in prayer for our families, leaders, and the future of Orville. Everyone is welcome.”

Towns asked the community to help her spread the word and join S.T.O.M.P. for these important communities’ events.

The dates and times for the Valley Grande and Selma prayer days will be announced at a later time.
