The Morgan Academy JV softball team added two more wins over the weekend.

They defeated Lowndes Academy JV 10-0 and Edgewood Academy JV 8-0.

The Lady Senators scored five runs in each of the first two innings to shutout Lowndes.

Miles Avery Bond led the way going 2-for-2 at the plate with three RBIs and two runs scored. Avery Stone was 1-for-2 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored while Bella Roberts was 1-for-2 with two RBIs. McKenzie Britt had a hit and an RBI. Kenzie Oates added a hit and two runs scored. Cassidy Peal had a hit and a run scored. Brinley Chappelle added two runs.

Peal got the win in three innings allowing one hit and two walks with two strikeouts.

Morgan JV 8, Edgewood 0

The Lady Senators pounded out eight runs on nine hits to get the win.

Anna Logan Lee led the way with a 3-for-3 performance with her first career home run, two RBIs and a run scored. Chappelle and Bond each had doubles with a run scored. Roberts added a hit, an RBI and a run scored while Georgia Sams, Stone and Oates had a hit and run scored each.

Bond pitched four shutout innings with 10 strikeouts.
