Patricia (Pat/Patsy) Compton Knox

Patricia (Pat/Patsy) Compton Knox, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in St. Louis on February 7, 2025. Born on July 23, 1942, in Selma, Alabama to William and Sally Compton, she is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dan, their three children, and three grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Bill, and extended family.

A graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and Auburn University, Pat was passionate about lifelong learning and active in South County Baptist Church. She loved travel, sports, music, and her career in theater, research, and radio. Most cherished, though, were her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for South County Baptist Church Building Fund or St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness (SLOCA.org).

Funeral services will be on February 15, 2025, at South County Baptist Church, with burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on February 18, 2025. Services will be streamed thru southcountybaptist.com YouTube link.
