Selma boys take down Demopolis

The Selma Saints continued their winning ways Tuesday night with a dominant 75-23 win over Demopolis in the Class 5A, Area 5 semifinals.

They will play in the area finals against Montevallo Wednesday at 6:15 p.m.

Selma jumped out to a 21-4 lead by the end of the first quarter. Another 21-3 advantage in the second quarter gave the Saints a 42-7 lead at halftime.

The lead was extended to 60-16 at the end of the third quarter, and the final stanza was played with a running clock.

The Saints were led by Tristin Blocton with 29 points while by Tristen Wall had 15 points and Cameron McMillan scored 11. DeShawn Flannigan added six points followed by Jaquarious Bradley with five, Kristen Moore and Treyvonne Eaton with four each and LaDarian Brown with three.
