Fourth suspect arrested in tragic death of Selma resident

The Selma Police department has officially caught the fourth suspect who was involved in the tragedy that took place last Friday at the Selma Walmart, claiming the life of 40-year old Marcus Martin, who was a resident of Selma.
On Tuesday, SPD arrested a 20-year-old black male identified as Willie James Hunter, who is being charged with capital murder of Martin and two counts of shooting into an unoccupied vehicle.
Hunter is currently being held in the Perry County Detention Center under no bond. A hearing for Hunter is currently pending.
Tashun Roderick Benard Hunter, 19, was also arrested Monday and charged with capital murder and two counts of shooting into an unoccupied vehicle. Two juveniles, ages 16 and 17, were arrested on Saturday night.
The four suspects are charged in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday, Jan. 31, at Walmart Supercenter around 8 p.m. when Martin was fatally shot while sitting inside of a vehicle in the parking lot.
