Entrepreneur Workshop happening Thursday

Tomorrow within the Queen City, there will be a workshop taking place geared towards entrepreneurship for those within the community interested in starting their own business or for those who have already started their own business, just looking for new avenues to push more success.
The Entrepreneur Pop-Up Workshop will be held Thursday, Feb. 6 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Selma-Dallas County Library in the Vaughan Meeting Room at 1103 Selma Avenue for business owners and potential business owners to discuss what it takes to become an independent business owner and how to maintain and attract customers for an evolving successful business while simultaneously learning what the steps are to get started. The $20 registration fee includes lunch.
Professor LaKami Baker of Entrepreneurial Studies at Auburn University for the Herbert College of Business including David Mixson, who is the associate director of Auburn University’s Government and Economic Development Institute will be the keynote speakers for the event.
