Michael Hoytt Crocker, age 70, of Demopolis died Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at his home. He was born June 17, 1954 in Uniontown to Elmer Franklin Crocker Sr. and Jewel O’Neal Crocker. He was a retired produce manager with Piggly Wiggly and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served as deacon. Mr. Crocker was a former city councilman of Uniontown and a member of the Uniontown Volunteer Fire Department for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Rene Cochran Crocker; nieces, Emily McInnis (Chris) and Heather Richards; nephews, Carl Crocker, Side Crocker (Jennifer), Philip Crocker, Justin Coleman (Ashley) and Brandon Cochran; and 12 great nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services were held at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10 a.m with the Rev. Pike Smith officiating.
Active pallbearers were Sid Crocker, Philip Crocker, Chris McInnis, Samuel Richards, Jon Richards and Tyler McInnis.
Honorary pallbearers were Carl Crocker, deacons of Calvary Baptist Church and members of Uniontown Volunteer Fire Department.
