The University of Alabama National Alumni Association named Ronnie Leet one of its 10 vice presidents to serve three-year terms on its executive committee.
Leet will represent District 10. Leet graduated from Alabama in 1973 from the Culverhouse College of Business with a marketing degree. Leet is currently retired, a NAA board member and president of the Dallas Wilcox Bama Club.
“I am honored,” Leet said. “I was on the executive committee board 16 years ago, so I am proud that they offered me the opportunity to be a member of the Board again. The National Alumni Association does amazing work in helping students going to and currently at the University of Alabama. As District 10 vice president for the Alumni Association, I will represent not only Dallas and Wilcox counties but also Clarke, Choctaw and Monroe counties. I hope that my experience can help those counties continue their goals of helping students from those areas who attend the University of Alabama.”
The NAA executive committee is made up of the president, president-elect, past president, executive secretary, treasurer, 16 district vice presidents within the state of Alabama and six regional vice presidents across the country. The officers on the executive committee are elected for three-year terms during Alumni Weekend every year.
The executive committee works with the alumni office to approve the operating budget and carry out the programming and policies of the Alumni Association. The executive committee plays a vital role in ensuring the success of the association across the country.
