The Selma-Dallas County Historic Preservation Society (SDCHPS) will host its annual Salad Luncheon on August 23, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Selma.

The luncheon will feature a variety of salads and other delicious treats available for take-out or dine-in. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from any SDCHPS Board Member or by calling 334-412-8550.

Proceeds from the luncheon will support the SDCHPS and its ongoing preservation efforts. The SDCHPS is a non-profit organization with a mission to protect, preserve, and restore Selma and Dallas County’s past.

“We are excited to host our annual Salad Luncheon again this year,” said SDCHPS President Sylvia Smith. “This is a great opportunity for people to come together and enjoy a delicious lunch while supporting a great cause.”

The luncheon will be held at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, located at 301 Broad Street in Selma – please use the church’s Lauderdale Street entrance. The church, built c. 1893, is a beautiful historic building in the Old Town Historic District.
