Morgan Academy High School Math Teacher Jennifer Brooks has won many awards and impacted even more students that have come through her classroom throughout her time teaching at Morgan.

Brooks loves to teach and interact with her students and she loves the community that she lives in and because of that she was nominated by her peers and voted on as the Selma Times-Journal Teacher of the Year. Morgan Academy Headmaster Bryan Oliver said that he can’t think of a better person to have received the Teacher of the Year award.

“I am extremely excited that Mrs. Brooks was chosen as the Teacher of the Year. I can’t think of a better person to win this award. Jennifer pours into her students each and every day,” Oliver said. “She motivates them to do their best in and out of the classroom. Jennifer represents all that you look for in a teacher and the whole Morgan Academy family is proud of her.”
