Harriet Shorts King, 69, resident of Selma, AL. passed away May 19, 2023. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, at 11 a.m. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, burial at New Bethal Church Cemetery, directed and officiated by Ashley’s JH Williams and Sons Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Douglas Shorts and her brother, John Shorts. Survivors include: spouse Rev. Rufus King Jr., and son Rufus (Crystal) King, daughters, Ebonique (Joshua) King-Lee, Marie (Randy) King-Roberts, Rachel (Michael) Rollins, 3 son in laws and daughter in law
