The Clark Social Justice Academy first-grade student Theorie Sullivan is the Selma City Council student of the month.

Sullivan was accompanied by her mother, Turkesha Sullivan, teacher Constance Bowie and principal Alisha Cleveland.

Selma City Council President Billy Young praised the strong academics and leadership skills of Sullivan, an All-A student.

“She has a quiet disposition, but displays leadership skills who always help her classmates,” Young said.

Sullivan was presented a gift basket with assorted fruits and candies.
