The Dallas and Wilcox Bama Club will hold its annual scholarship banquet on Tuesday, May 16 at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church at 5:15 p.m.

Roger Hoover, Alabama Football Broadcast Announcer, will be the keynote speaker.

A total $40,000 to offer 20 outstanding students from Dallas and Wilcox County scholarship monies to begin their freshman year at the University of Alabama.

People are welcome to join or renew their membership to the Dallas Wilcox Bama Club for only $20 per person

Ronnie Leet of the Dallas and Wilcox Bama Club said that this is in addition to the banquet cost, but membership is not required to attend the banquet.

Deadline for the banquet is May 5. The cost is $40 each person to attend the banquet.

Leet also said the club is always open to adding new membership.“We had a very strong membership in 2022 but would love to add new members in 2023,” Leet said.

The Dallas and Wilcox Bama Club Committee consists of: Ronnie Leet (Barbara), Anne Williamson, Buddy Perkins, James McNeill, Ed Greene (Sandy), Beau Boyd, Tom Glover Ill, Laura Beth Boyd.
