District Attorneys across the nation will walk across the Edmund Pettus Bridge on Saturday morning.

Former Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said the event will be held between 10-10:15 a.m.

Jackson said Selma Mayor James Perkins Jr., the Selma City Council and Dallas County Commission are all invited. At a recent Selma City Council meeting, Jackson said that District Attorneys want to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

“This will look good for the city of Selma,” Jackson said.
