NWTF Blaster Chapter had strong crowd at 33rd annual banquet

The 33rd annual Super Fund and Hunting Heritage Banquet of the Selma’s Blaster Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation was a success.

A capacity crowd filled the Y Not Entertainment facility, who hosted the event.

Charles Duckett of the Selma Blaster Chapter said he was pleased with the turnout and the 51 sponsors.

Selma’s Blaster Chapter has earned the “Golden Gobbler Award” every year since its charter and is one of only three chapters in the nation to achieve Golden Gobbler status for over 30 consecutive years.

“When you have 51 sponsors, that is very good,” Duckett said. “We have businesses that support and sponsor us.”
