Ward 7 Councilwoman Jannie Thomas announced an upcoming schedule.

Thomas will have a Ward 7 Council meeting  on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Larry Striplin Performing Center. 

At the corner of Church Street and LL Anderson Avenue on April 29, Thomas will host her annual Stop the Violence Rally. She honors residents in her Ward who died from the gun violence.

Thomas announced that applications for the Alexis Hunter Scholarship are underway. Seniors must live in Ward 7, have a 2.5 GPA, fill out an application, school transcripts and complete a written essay.
