A Selma man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Friday near the Alabama Gulf Coastal area.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that Willie J. McDole, 54, was fatally injured when the 1996 Toyota Avalon he drove left the roadway and struck several trees. McDole was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred on Interstate 65 at the 45 mile-marker, about 12 miles northeast of Bay Minette, in Baldwin County around 2:55 p.m. Friday.

No further details are available as Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
