Lady Senators dominate on court again

The Morgan Academy Lady Senators made another dominating showing on Thursday afternoon on the tennis court sweeping Southern Academy to remain undefeated this season at home.

The lone senior McCann Perkins dominated in her singles match winning 8-0. Afterward, she talked about the goals of the Lady Senators at this point of the season.

“State is the big tournament in April,” Perkins said. “We didn’t win last year but I have a feeling we are going to have a comeback this year.”

-Emma Kate South won her singles match 8-0

-Mary Emily Frazer won her singles match 8-1

-Sarah Brech won her singles match 8-0

-Maryn Mergeron won her singles match 8-0

-Libby Pearce won her singles match 8-0

-Bailey Brown won her singles match 8-0

The tennis team will be back in action on the 16th at home when they take on Ft. Dale at 3 p.m.
