Our opinion: City of Valley Grande is in good financial shape

The City of Valley Grande had another successful audit and we’re not surprised.
Chris Neuenschwander and Katie Vega Schmidt of Jackson-Thornton gave the city a clean bill of health last month.
Valley Grande has a true equity of $4 million and with revenue of $1.3 million.
“The city lives within its means,” Neuenschwander said. The liability and assets are in good shape.”
We’re impressed with the great job Mayor Wayne Labbe, council members Sara Day, Kay Davidson, Bruce Hughes, Robbie Rose, Jane Harris and Treasurer/Clerk Kim Harris have done running the city.
We applaud the city of Valley Grande for another successful audit.
