Selma Mayor James Perkins Jr. tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

In a press statement released by the City of Selma, Perkins He will remain at home over the next few days to rest.

City officials urging in close proximity to Perkins over the last few days should get tested if they are experiencing any symptoms.
