Amy Carmichael of Aletheia House, in collaboration with Lemarkus Snow of Snow’s Cleaning Service will have a Coat and Blanket Give Away at the Good Samaritan building on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until noon.

The two organizations will also be giving out donations for victims of the tornado that devastated Selma on January 12.

Items collected include blankets, coats, scarves, gloves, clothing, toiletries, dog and cat food, neck warmers, tissue paper, towels, and other hygiene items.

Cookies will be available and Coffee donated by Jackie Smith of the Coffee Shoppe.

Carmichael said that the VFW will be providing hot chicken noodle soup at the event.
