Selma man killed in single-vehicle crash Sunday morning

A Selma man was killed Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that Antonio Martin, 33, was fatally injured when the 2013 Yamaha Raptor 700R ATV that he operated left the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned.

Martin wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

 The crash occurred around 6 a.m Sunday on Roosevelt Avenue, about four miles east of Selma. No further details are available as Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
