The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Northside Baptist Church teamed with Selma Area Food Bank and Dave’s Market for its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Dallas County Sheriff Mike Granthum said he always appreciates local organizations helping the DCSO with donations for the community.

Northside Baptist Church member Kathy Smith said she’s grateful to the DCSO. Forty-two families received boxes.

“The DCSO is just a blessing in our community,” Smith said. “They are here to serve and protect.”
