Selma man died in two-vehicle crash late Saturday night

A Selma man died in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday night.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that  Carlton E. Moore, 44, was killed when the 1994 Toyota Camry he drove collided head-on with a 2018 Hyundai Tucson driven by Sarah Nelson, 24, of Marion Junction.

Nelson was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred on U.S. 80 near the 77-mile marker, four miles west of Selma, in Dallas County around 11:04 p.m. Saturday night.

No further details are available as Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
