Warner Robins, GA – Peggy Jean Meyer, 87, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her residence. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Monsignor Fred Nijem and Deacon Jim Hunt will be officiating the services. Peggy was born on February 13, 1935, in Selma, AL to the late Gordon and Winnie Lee (Fain) Stone. She was a proud homemaker, who loved caring for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, cross-stitching, reading, gardening, cooking, and baking. Peggy was a devout catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by sister, Ann Sanders, and her brother, Benny Stone.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 69 years, Ervin Meyer; son: Joe Meyer (Peggy); daughters: Marcia Key (Greg), Suzanne Lawrence and Cathy Milam; Eleven grandchildren; Seventeen great-grandchildren; sister: Patsy Shepard; brother-in-law: Bobby Sanders.
