Selma prevailed on the road, while  Morgan Academy stumbled.

Selma 40, Jemison 17: The Saints (7-2, 4-1 Region 3, Class 5A) got two touchdowns from Marcus Walton, clinching a first-round playoff game  at home.

DaKaari Nelson, Jamarion Sanders and Shamarion Woods all scored for the Saints.

Monroe Academy 26, Morgan Academy 8: The 10th ranked Senators ( 5-3) fell on the road.

TB Clements’ 12 yard TD pass to CJ Crocker was the game’s only score for the Senators.

Jackson Griffin had 17 total tackles, while Casen Huff added 12 total tackles.  Allen Michael Creech finished with nine total tackles. John Allen Ingram added seven total tackles.

Bibb County 56, Dallas County 0: The Hornets (1-7, 1-5 Region 3, 4A)  stumbled in Centreville. Dallas County is eliminated from 4A playoff consideration.

Cornerstone Christian at Meadowview Christian School: : The Trojans (0-9) remained winless, dropping a 8-man football contest at Wasden Field.
