“I’m so excited for our kids,” Senators coach Danny Raines said. “To be down 21-0, keep playing and to be able to come back is really remarkable. I couldn’t be happier for these guys. I’m so proud of them.”
Keith at A.L. Johnson: The Bears (3-3, 2-1) figure to get on track against winless A.L. Johnson (0-5, 0-3), a week before visiting fourth-ranked Sweetwater.
Saderreion Reubin ran for 163 yards and a touchdown against Southside. Running back Javon Richardson has scored 10 touchdowns this season.
American Christian Academy at Dallas County: The Hornets (1-4, 1-2 Region 3, Class 4A) will have their hands full against the state powerhouse Patriots (4-2, 3-0) at Martin Field in Plantersville.
