Southside and Keith High cruised to easy victories on Thursday night. Morgan Academy lost.

Southside 68, Sumter Central 38: Quarterback Roosevelt Towns threw for 400 yards and four touchdowns as Southside hammered Sumter Central at Panthers Stadium.

DeAndre Garner scored three touchdowns. Derick Smith and KeAndre Garner each scored twice. Erick Smith added a touchdown for the Panthers (1-2, 0-1 Region 3, Class 3A).

Keith 30 University Charter 6: Javon Richardson ran for over 250 yards and scored four touchdowns as the Bears (2-2, 1-1 Region 3, Class 1A) won on the road.

Aveon Young scored the Bears’ other touchdown.

Lee-Scott 48, Morgan Academy 6: The Senators (1-2) were no match for fifth-ranked Lee-Scott on Thursday at Morgan Field.

Morgan Academy’s only touchdown came on TB Clements’ 6-yard TD pass to Allen Lightfoot.

Running back John Allen Ingram ran for 77 yards in a losing effort for the Senators.
