Volleyball often gets overshadowed during football season.

We know that volleyball began last week for public schools and private schools in Dallas County.

Selma and Keith posted their schedules on Social Media right after the school year began.

Morgan Academy dropped their schedule by our office earlier this month.

While we can’t attend every volleyball game in the county, we encourage coaches to send information and photos of their teams.

We expect teams to play well into the postseason in October. We believe that Morgan Academy has the talent to win a AISA state championship. Keenan Lee McHugh was the Selma Times-Journal volleyball player of the year in 2021.
