Earl “Butch” Travis, 66, of Selma, AL (Dallas Co.) passed away July 29, 2022 in Valley Grande. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2022, 1 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist officiated by Rev. Joshua Davis. Burial to follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens, directed by Ashley’s JH Williams & Sons Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Will and Lannie Travis; two brothers, Roosevelt Moore, Will Travis Jr.; one sister, Earnestine Franklin; special nephew, more like a son, Roderick Moore. Survivors include: spouse, Sonja Thomas Travis; daughters, Marquita (Antonio) Evans, Edna Santana Thomas; sister, Lula M. Hatcher; two grandchildren, one son in-law, four sisters in-law, a host of nieces and nephews.
