Lillie Hull Lassen passed away peacefully on June 18, 2022 at the age of 84 years old. Lillie was loved and cherished. She was a blessing to many that knew her. She was a feisty red-head who had a zest for life which she shared with everyone.

Lillie was born and raised in Selma, Alabama, by Florence and Bill Hull, the eldest of four children. She moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Charity School of Nursing in the Class of 1959. Lillie married Dr. Alvin Lassen, who she partnered with both personally and professionally until his death in 2015. As a couple, they lived in Metairie, Houma, and Shreveport, Louisiana, as well as Diamondhead and Picayune, Mississippi.

In the last years of her life, Lillie lived at Vista Shores in New Orleans, where she was dearly cared for by her wonderful companion caregivers, Yacheka Brown and Demetria Quinn.
